VP Candidate, NIMELSSA UI

Voice. Identity. Pride.

MLS students already have the voice, the identity and the wins. I'm running to put them on the stage.

About SAMUEL

I'm Samuel Ogunleke, a 400-level Biomedical Laboratory Science student at the University of Ibadan. I build things, and I believe MLS professionals should own the systems of healthcare, not just serve them.

I founded BMLSIA, the BMLS Innovation Academy: 140+ applicants, 30 fellows across 11 disciplines. I built OutEMReach, which has reached 1,800+ patients, including 101 at NIMELSSA Southwest in two hours and 305 at UI Health Day 2026. I also built Pintra, which placed top 5 of 1,533 teams at Harvard HSIL 2026 and won the Highest Public Health Award, and I led MPDetect, a smartphone malaria-detection AI, to a win at the iResearch Hackathon 2026.

I'm running because I've seen what happens when MLS students get real tools and a real platform: they build, they lead, they ship. I want every level at NIMELSSA UI to feel that.

German, by accident

I learned German in under a year after a job offer, then built a brand to teach it: Lern Deutsch mit Sam.

Serial builder

20+ products shipped, from a blood donor CRM to a medical outreach EMR to a Duolingo-style study app.

Lab coat, laptop

I run German classes for medical students at UCH Ibadan, on a platform I built myself.

The vision

VOICE

Every student, 100L to 500L, gets a real channel to be heard and a response, not silence.

IDENTITY

We are scientists, builders and storytellers, not just testers, and NIMELSSA UI should look like it.

PRIDE

We celebrate our wins out loud, from hackathons and outreaches to research and each other.

The promises

The proof

All work
